TOIGO Square TOIGO 広場

Take advantage of the nice weather by stopping by the square in front of TOIGO across from Monzen Plaza/Tomato Supermarket. From 11:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. (4/5~5/31), you can enjoy Nagano hospitality via an onsen foot bath (circulating fresh hot spring water only) as well as freshly whisked green tea (matcha) and Japanese sweets!天気が良いのを幸いにもんぜんぷら座・トマト館の向かいにTOIGO広場に立ち寄りませんか？4月5日～5月31日の間11時から16時まで足湯（１００％かけ流し）や抹茶と和菓子より、長野のおもてなしが感じられます！

Art Aquarium アートアクアリウム展

Nagano City's Mielparque Hotel will be hosting the Art Aquarium Exhibit from April 25th to May 31st.
Tickets can be bought in advance (￥900 for adults, ￥700 for elementary/ middle school students) until April 24th online or via 711 copy machines. They can also be purchased at the door or from 711 copy machines on the day of (￥1,000 for adults, ￥800 for elementary/ middle school students).

From 6:00 P.M. the exhibit becomes a Night Aquarium with music and drinks available for purchase. Buying a drink is not required, but please do not bring your own drinks into the exhibit.

"Delicious Nagano!"「長野、おいしそう！」

Please come and see what delicious aspects Nagano Prefecture has to offer! Today is the last day that the "Delicious Nagano!" photo exhibition will be on the third floor of Nagano City's Monzen Plaza, just outside of the International Exchange Corner. Next week's location will be the Nagano Prefectural Office in Nagano City. 長野県のおいしそうな写真を是非見に来てください！「長野、おいしそう！」写真展を開催しています。本日はもんぜんぷら座３Ｆの国際交流コーナーで展示を しているのが最後の日です。来週は県庁に展示会場を移します。

津軽三味線と民謡の集い

津軽三味線を聞きながら、地元の伝統・文化に触れることが、ふるさとを感じることにつながっていくイベント！どなた でも気軽に参加できます。

Feel yourself transported to the Japan of old by experiencing local traditions and culture through the sounds of the Shamisen and folk songs. Kids Yoga from 9:00 A.M. Tsugaru Shamisen from 10:00 A.M. Location: Shoganji Temple, Kinasa Nagano. All attendees welcome. Sunday, May 3rd, 2015.

Gokaicho 2015 2015年御開帳

The Gokaicho Festival is now under way!御開帳が始まりました！

The raising of the pillar by traditional methods.　昔の工法で回向柱を立てました。

Led by a cow to Zenkoji, the procession of the Opening Parade made its way from Nagano Station to the steps of the temple. (For the story behind the cow please read more here: http://www.gokaicho.com/english/)　善光寺まで牛に引かれていくオープニングパレードの行列は長野駅から善光寺階段へ歩いていきました。（牛の言い伝えの読み続きはこちらへ：http://www.gokaicho.com/about/about.php）

The replica of the sacred statue was then brought out and carried into the temple.

「前立本尊」が神輿で善光寺に担ぎ込まれました。
